The Company was originally incorporated under the name Citizen Eco-Capital Limited under the Companies Act, 1956 with registrar of Companies, Gujarat on 23rd February, 1996 with main object to carry on the business as Finance Company. Subsequently the name of the Company has been changed to Ashutosh Finance Limited on 20th August, 1998 and converted into private limited company under the name Ashutosh Finance Private Limited with effect from the same date. The Company is registered as Non-Banking Finance Company (“NBFC”) with Reserve Bank of India having valid Cor No. : B:01.00404.
Subject to the approval of Reserve Bank of India (“RBI), the management and control of the Company has been changed with effect from 1st July, 2025 and Mr. Navnitbhai Zala and his family members acquired management and control of the Company. Upon change in the management of the Company, the name of the Company has been changed from Ashutosh Finance Private Limited to Ashutosh Finance (India) Private Limited with effect from 1st December, 2025.
